My Movie Review: Fantastic Mr. Fox

My Movie Review: Fantastic Mr Fox
By Wade Durham

Fantastic Mr Fox is nothing short of Fantastic. Wes Anderson does it again and through a childhood mind. While children will giggle and enjoy the critters in this Chicken Run style film, adults will see the symbolism and drama behind the story. This is an animated film like no other right up there with Up. No pun intended. What makes Fox so heartwarming and lovable is the impressive adaption of the story book mixed with the odd animation that takes some getting use to at first but eventually the creativity of it comes out and you almost feel like a story you use to have with your action figures is coming to life. Andersons Mr Fox is exceptional and entertaining I would love to see it again. The style of the movie just is simply appealing. Anderson made the decision to not have CGI in the film which was an excellent choice, the film at times seems bizzare and just plain weird, and once the first act is over your just like This is weird and kind of stupid, but with any of Andersons films you have to go in with an open mind and an open heart. I suggest this film to any children out there and any parents.

4/5
Great Review.
